The local Atlantic CIty police department graduated 13 new officers from the academy Friday.The new officers completed 26 weeks of basic training at the Atlantic County Police Training Center in Egg Harbor Township, and a ceremony was held Friday at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The new officers will begin field training and be assigned to the Operations Division.
