Postal Supervisor Confesses

A former postal supervisor from Cape May Court House admitted Monday in federal court using more than $50,000 in postal funds for personal expenses, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. And according to the Press of Atlantic CityAustin T. Mahan, 44, pleaded guilty before District Judge Christine P. O’Hearn. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when sentenced Sept. 25. For six months between 2022 and last year, Mahan worked as a postal service supervisor at the Sea Isle City and Somers Point post offices
