The Atlantic City Police Department arrested two men and a woman following an investigation into gunshots being heard.
On May 5 at 10:20 PM, patrol officers responded to the Club Wyndham Skyline Tower in the beach block of North Carolina Avenue for a report of gunshots being fired from a balcony. An investigation into this report led the officers to a room on the 21st floor. There, they encountered three occupants, 41 year old Zara Griffiths, 42 year old Corey Brown, and 43 year old Malik Dean. Griffiths advised officers that there was a firearm in the room and provided the location, but it was not found. Officer John Bell applied and was granted a court authorized search warrant for the room. During a search, the officers located two handguns. All three occupants were arrested.
