The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority appears set to say no to a city plan for a second phase of work reducing the lanes on Atlantic Avenue from four to two. According to the Press of Atlantic City described as a road diet, the plan would include improvements to the road as well as the lane changes and other work. The matter has been a point of contention between the authority and the city, with CRDA having obtained a court order in May asserting its jurisdiction in the matter. A vote for or against the project is coming soon.
