Galloway Township Man IndictedIn Deadly Shooting

A Galloway Township man accused of fatally shooting a Pleasantville man at a home in May was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday, reports the Press of Atlantic City. 35 year old Kalief Lyons was indicted on murder and weapons offenses in the shooting death of 38 year old Bassem Taliaferro. Police responded to an apartment on West Pleasant Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired at 11:02 p.m. on May 9. Officers found Taliaferro on the first floor suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
