An Egg Harbor Township man was charged with insurance fraud last week after claiming a vehicle registered in his name and involved in a hit-and-run last year in Absecon was stolen, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday.Clay Stake, 50, was charged with three counts of insurance fraud and one count of giving false reports to law enforcement, the Prosecutor’s Office said.
