In Plesantville a person was seriously injured Saturday afternoon after becoming stuck in a tree while cutting branches, fire officials said. Firefighters responded to North Woodland Avenue at 12:16 p.m. and located a person who was pinned eight feet up in the tree by a large branch, fire officials said in a Facebook post. A rope system was used to lift the branch, and the individual was lowered to the ground, the post indicates.
