Stockton University Climate Change

Stockton University was the only collegiate recipient in southern New Jersey of a $650,000 state grant intended to help K-12 schools improve climate change education, the school said. The Press of Atlantic City says the grant was given by the state Department of Education as part of first lady Tammy Murphy’s effort to incorporate more climate change instruction into classrooms, Stockton said in a news release. In 2020, New Jersey was the first state to begin integrating climate change instruction across school curriculums.
