57 year old Nancy Santos of Galloway Township stands charged with 43 counts of animal neglect. Police went to her home Monday on the 300 block of Cresson Avenue after receiving reports of several animals living in inhumane conditions. Officers rescued 29 cats and seven dogs from the home. They also found four kittens, two adult dogs, and an adult cat dead in a freezer. Santos was held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility to await a future court date.
