Ocean City Food Cupboard

What better way to honor the manager of the Ocean City Food Cupboard than with a citywide food drive? According to the Press of Atlantic City, a city-organized drive will collect non-perishable food in memory of Regina Ralston, who had been the vice president of the Ocean City Ecumenical Council and the manager of the food cupboard, which has offered food to community members since 1983. Ralston died recently. She was 75. Those willing can drop off non-perishable food or personal care items during business hours this month at the City Hall Welcome Center (861 Asbury Ave., Ninth Street entrance).
