Atlantic City Police charge a teenager for his role in a May shooting that wounded another teen.
18 year old Quamir Kirkland was already behind bars on another matter. Police say on May 7th, patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of Atlantic Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert. Officers arrived and located a male, 15, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect vehicle.
Within 20 minutes, an officer located the vehicle unoccupied in the 800 block of Maryland Avenue. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Bellmawr, NJ, and evidence of gunfire was located inside the vehicle.
