Ventnor police will conduct an intoxicated-driving checkpoint on Atlantic Avenue late Saturday evening, the department said.The goal of the checkpoint is to deter and prevent drinking and driving, police said in a news release.The checkpoint is funded by fines and penalties assessed to those convicted of driving while intoxicated, police said.
