An Egg Harbor City man accused of allegedly shooting and killing another man in the Hamilton Mall parking lot nearly eight years ago was ordered held in jail until trial Wednesday. According to the Press of Atlantic City, 30 year old Steven Martinez is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses in the shooting death of Demond Cottman, 21, of Atlantic City, on Black Friday in 2016. Martinez, who has also been charged in the shooting death of Cottman’s father, Demond Tally, refused to attend the detention hearing.
