With Labor Day approaching, the gulls of the Ocean City Boardwalk appear to have chilled out.According to the Press of Atlantic City City Council member Keith Hartzell, who raised the matter at the most recent City Council meeting on Thursday. He described the situation as much improved.“I was able to eat pizza last night without being attacked,” Hartzell said.Earlier in August, members of City Council reported that the gulls were increasingly aggressive, despite a city program that has used trained birds of prey to keep the gulls in line.
