Cape May County Officials will host a press conference Friday after the County and all 16 municipalities took a unified position on NJPACT/REAL Rules. County officials, in a press release, say the proposed rules will limit new construction, expand flood hazard zones, and impose stricter, more costly regulations on new homes and businesses, and will make it harder and more expensive to build. The press conference is set for 11:15am outside the Cape May County Administration building.
