On Thursday, at approximately 7:54 p.m., the Galloway Township Police Department responded to Route 30, westbound, in the area of Seventh Avenue for a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The
deceased victim was identified as 33 year old Angeletta Sheppard from Barnegat. The
suspected vehicle left the scene before law enforcement arrived. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Crash Investigations Unit and the Galloway Township Police Department are cooperatively investigating this incident
