Gillian’s Wonderland

Gillian’s Wonderland on the Boardwalk will shut down Oct. 13, after entertaining generations for more than six decades. Over the summer, Wonderland CEO Jay Gillian, who is also the city’s mayor, announced the closure of the long-running amusement park in October. He said it was no longer a viable business. In 2021, developer Eustace Mita purchased the land for $10 million, as the park faced foreclosure over $8 million in debt. No word yet on the future development of the property.
