Jaywalking Turns Into Weapons, Warrants Arrest In Absecon

A Gloucester County man with a gun was arrested Wednesday after he attempted to evade officers working a traffic detail on the White Horse Pike in Absecon, reports the Press of Atlantic City. 24 year old Gregory J. Ganski III, 24, of Williamstown, was stopped for improperly crossing the highway and gave false information to the officers in an attempt to avoid receiving a summons. Ganski ran away as the officers attempted to arrest him and during the pursuit, Ganski allegedly discarded a magazine from a firearm. He was eventually apprehended and found to be in possession of a handgun. He also had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest.
