Two Shooting Suspects Turn Themselves In In AC

The Atlantic City Police Department arrested two shooting suspects who turned themselves in on separate days.
On September 2, 2024, 19 year old Ashan Jackson surrendered himself to detectives and was charged with various crimes related to a shooting after which a man walked in suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 29, of Pleasantville, NJ, was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. The victim had been shot at Pennsylvania and Pacific Avenues during an altercation with Jackson.
On September 4, a juvenile male, who had been wanted since a July shooting, turned himself in. On July 8, a 15-year-old female arrived at the medical center with a gunshot wound. The arrested male and another male were involved in an altercation at an unknown location when the victim was shot.
