A Wildwood man was arrested Monday after he allegedly tried to remove weapons from two officers while they attempted to take him into custody, police said. According to the Press of Atlantic City Rakesh Patel, 47, was charged with disarming a law enforcement officer, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a ghost gun, burglary, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, eluding, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and certain persons not to possess weapons or ammunition. He is being held in the Cape May County jail.
