Early Voting Draws Atlantic County Voters In Big Numbers

In just the first three days of early voting in Atlantic County, just under 13,000 people have cast their ballots by machine at seven locations, according to the unofficial count by elections officials. The Press of Atlantic City reports county Board of Elections Chair John Mooney estimated 17,000 to 18,000 mail-in ballots have been received to date, of the 28,000 sent out by the county clerk’s office. This will be the first presidential election since early machine voting began in New Jersey in 2021.
