Pleasantville chef Andre Murphy of the non-proft Healing the Soul, who recently helped send 2,500 meals to hurricane victims in North Carolina, put his efforts toward a local cause Thursday.Murphy, in partnership with local nonprofit Life Worth Living, provided more than 100 meals to members of the Bridgeton police, State Police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office to support those who are investigating the death of Detective Sgt. Monica Mosley, who was killed Oct. 15 in an apparent home invasion.
