A former Vineland resident was arrested Monday after he allegedly set a mattress on fire in a motel room he was living in. According to the Press of Atlantic City, 31 year old Shawn Negron was charged with arson, causing or risking widespread injury or damage, and criminal mischief. He is being held in the Atlantic County jail.
The incident happened at the Budget Motel in the 700 block of South Harding Highway.
