A Mays Landing man has been charged in hit and run that badly injured an Absecon man and killed his dog.
According to BreakingAC.com, Syed Hoque and his dog were struck shortly after midnight Saturday at the intersection of Highland Boulevard and Marlborough Avenue, police said. Hoque, 25, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The dog died at the scene.
