38 year old Fabian Lucas, 38, from Mays Landing, pleaded guilty to second-degree Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident Resulting in Death. On March 1, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., members of the Atlantic City Police Department were dispatched to Route 30 near mile marker 55 for a reported pedestrian hit and run with a vehicle traveling eastbound to Atlantic City. On scene, paramedics worked on reviving the
victim, Jodi Milhan, 49, from Pleasantville, NJ, who was ultimately pronounced deceased at
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center shortly thereafter. An investigation lead to Lucas who was eventually arrested and taken into custody in April 2023. A jury trial was scheduled to begin Monday. Lucas’ sentencing is scheduled for January 2025.
