Wildwood’s Board of Commissioners planned to table a resolution to join the Cape May County dispatch system. According to the Press of Atlantic City, officials say there are many unanswered questions.
The regional emergency system began in 2016, with a combined dispatch for Lower Township police and the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office. Wildwood Crest is already part of the county system, and North Wildwood is set to become part of it in February.
