Target Zero Commission

In traffic news, New Jersey on Monday set a goal of having no fatal vehicle crashes by the year 2040.Gov. Phil Murphy signed legislation creating a Target Zero Commission, a 13-member group of transportation and law enforcement officials tasked with finding ways to reduce and ultimately eliminate fatal crashes in New Jersey within 15 years.It includes people from the state Department of Transportation, State Police, the Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, regional transportation officials and others.
