The Atlantic City Police Department acting on two sources of information arrested a man in possession of a handgun. On February 7 at 5:47 PM, Officers Michael Regalbuto and Glen Robinson were provided information by Detective Christopher Dodson in reference to a male named Vladimir who was in possession of a handgun near Sovereign and Atlantic Avenues. In addition, this information was provided to tip411 by a concerned citizen, the department’s anonymous text service. Acting on the information, the officers located 21 year old Vladimir Baires-Hernandez at Sovereign and Arctic Avenues. Baires-Hernandez was placed in custody after being found in possession of a loaded handgun.
