The Egg Harbor Township Police Department on Friday released a statistical review of its 2024 activity.According to information the department posted on Facebook, the department responded to 65,636 calls for service last year.”To all of the Police Officers, Detectives, Dispatchers and Professional Staff; We THANK YOU for all of your hard work in the service of our core mission, “The Service and Protection” of our Great Community!” the posting read.The department said it made 1,024 arrests and responded to 2,169 motor vehicle crashes in 2024.
