In Egg Harbor Township layoffs of workers still on provisional status throughout the federal government will affect a small number of employees at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-2nd, said Monday. According to the Press of Atlantic City he estimated about 15 workers have been laid off there in recent days.“And some of these people I guarantee are filling slots that really need to be filled,” Van Drew said.
