Atlantic City is hiring former Pleasantville police Chief Sean Riggin as its public safety director, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said Wednesday morning to the Press of Atlantic City. Riggin, who will be paid $110,000 a year in his new role, retired as chief of the Pleasantville Police Department in 2021. “I’m really excited about the opportunity to lend a hand after having the chance to watch the really impressive work and development from the fire and police departments while I worked for the state,” said Riggin, who served as a consultant for the Department of Community Affairs.
