Cape May County’s last volunteer ambulance corps may not survive without more money.According to the Press of Atlantic City it does not sound likely that the money will come from the township.Debra A. Rue, president of the Middle Township Ambulance Corps, pleaded her case Monday to the Township Committee. The organization’s annual budget is $125,000, she said. Of that, she wants the township to kick in $80,000.“Without the township’s monetary contribution of $80,000, we may not exist, as it is impossible to raise $125,000 in fundraisers in a year,” Rue said.
