Atlantic County officials are in discussions with local first responders to develop a countywide emergency dispatch service, County Executive Dennis Levinson said. The discussed plan would include fire and EMS, but police could end up getting involved later on, county officials said Wednesday in a news release.Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties all have a central dispatch system.
