Health Insurance Fraud

According to the Press of Atlantic City a Northfield man who led a health insurance scheme that defrauded the state of $100 million won’t be sentenced until later this summer, court officials said. William Hickman was scheduled to appear before U.S. District Court Judge Edward S. Kiel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, but the hearing was adjourned and it is not expected to take place until August or September, court officials said. It’s the ninth time the hearing has been postponed, federal records show. He was initially scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 6, 2020.
