35 year old Jahlil Boston of Egg Harbor City was sentenced to 28 years in prison for first degree aggravated manslaughter. On March 18, 2023, members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to the 1900
block of the Atlantic City Boardwalk for reports of a male shot. Upon officers’ arrival, a 34-yearold male, identified as Eric Wynn, was located suffering from a gunshot wound and was
pronounced deceased on scene. Surveillance footage captured the shooting incident. Later
that night, Boston was apprehended a few blocks away from the scene in possession of the
handgun used to shoot the victim.
