Cape May County has approved the purchase of a new, $1.46 million rescue truck to be housed at the Ocean City fire headquarters.The truck will be staffed 24 hours a day by members of the Ocean City Fire Department at 550 Asbury Ave. and will be part of the county’s Urban Search and Rescue team, Mayor Jay Gillian said in a Friday message to residents.
