OC Firefighter Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend

An Ocean City firefighter has been suspended and faces charges of simple assault against his girlfriend that took place in December. According to the Press of Atlantic City, charges against Jeremy S. Sullivan were filed Dec. 14, the same day as the incident Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said Monday that the assault accusation is not related to Sullivan’s job as a firefighter. Sullivan’s next court appearance is set for April 2 in Cape May County Superior Court.
