Atlantic City police are going to look into how to make pedestrians safer thanks to a grant from Highway Traffic Safety – Atlantic-Cape May Region. BreakingAC.com reports officers next Tuesday will start enforcement operations throughout high-volume pedestrian areas. It will continue through the summer. Those who violate existing traffic laws could receive a citation and given an educational pamphlet explaining the importance of pedestrian safety.
