A 17-year-old city boy was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly fired multiple shots on Baltic Avenue before attempting to flee, police said. The teen was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and obstruction of justice. He was sent to the Harborfields youth detention facility in Egg Harbor City. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Baltic at 9:53 p.m. in response to a gunshot alert and found evidence of gunfire, police said Tuesday in a news release.
