A new federal task force will help protect the integrity of elections in New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said Tuesday. She goes to tell the Press of Atlantic City prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office will make up the Election Integrity Task Force. The group will work with the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies to remove ineligible people from voter lists, prosecute those who commit election crimes and make sure voter list maintenance requirements are in compliance with the National Voter Registration Act and the Help America Vote Act, Habba said in a news release.
