Ocean city appears to have settled a years-long legal fight over the placement of cellphone towers, approving a site on Bay Avenue for a 120-foot tower.The lengthy process started when the Planning Board rejected an application for cellphone towers on top of a commercial property on 34th Street in 2023.Several residents opposed the placement of 5G towers for broadband cellular networks, with many raising worries about health effects as the Planning Board considered the proposal.
