Seabrook, a drug and alcohol treatment center on Polk Lane, will close later this year, the facility said. “Following a careful review of our operations, we have made the difficult decision to close our Seabrook facility,” CEO TJ O’Reilly said in a statement. “The persistent challenges facing the facility, including the difficult labor market and the state’s unique regulatory environment, proved too great to overcome and made continued operations unsustainable.” The closure comes after Seabrook was ordered to pay $19.7 million to resolve allegations.
