An Atlantic City man with nearly 30 prior convictions was ordered held in jail Wednesday for stealing from a city firehouse. According to BreakingAC.com, 56 year old Johnny Carter allegedly took a $250 DeWalt circular saw from Fire Station 3 at Indiana and Grant avenues around 5:30 p.m. Friday. He then fled the building, and was found looking into the window of a residence where he does not live. Carter also has three separate cases pending, including attempted theft and hindering.
