The Atlantic County Institute of Technology got a boost to help grow its tree program courtesy of environmental grant. According to BreakingAC.com, ACIT was the only Atlantic County school district to receive part of the nearly $4.5 million in grants to 40 public schools, colleges and universities across the state through the Trees for Schools program. The Mays Landing-based school received $130,845.
