An Atlantic City man who allegedly had his wife in a headlock on the beach before brandishing a knife at an off-duty police officer who intervened after participating in a charity race was released from jail until trial Friday. The Press of Atlantic City reports 27 year old Xontae Glass is charged with simple assault, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Donna Taylor granted Glass’ release with the condition that he report to pretrial services twice a month.
