The state Department of Transportation has scheduled underground electrical work and traffic signal installation beginning today along parts of Route 40, from Mays Landing to the highway leading into Atlantic City, county officials announced.The closures, which will run through Thursday, have been scheduled for these areas along Route 40:Temporary right lane closures from Franklin Boulevard to West End Avenue intersection, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Temporary shoulder closures from Franklin Boulevard to West End Avenue intersection, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.Temporary right lane closures from Spruce Avenue intersection, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
