46 year old Eddie Ward from Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to weapons charges in exchange for a recommended sentence of three years in New Jersey State Prison. On May 12, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers responded to a residence in the Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City in reference to a male breaking into his shared residence with his ex-girlfriend. After Ward entered in through the window, he grabbed a knife and
threatened to kill two occupants in the home. ACPD officers arrested Ward on scene. Sentencing is tentatively scheduled for January 2, 2025
