In Middle Township, multiple units at a storage facility on Shunpike Road were damaged Monday following a fire, police said. Officers responded to Burleigh Storage in the Cape May Court House section of the township at 10:08 a.m. and saw heavy smoke coming from several units in the facility’s F building, police said in a news release. Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. This is the second time in seven months a fire broke out at the facility.
