Two Plead Guilty In AC Man’s 2022 Shooting Death

21 year old Fuquan Moore and 21 year old Oquan Thomas, both of Atlantic City, each pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter for their involvement in the shooting death of 27 year old Timothy Council, Jr., on December 5, 2022, in Atlantic City. Moore’s plea agreement calls for a
recommended sentence of 15 years of New Jersey State Prison. Thomas’ plea agreement calls for a recommended sentence range of 16-18 years. The victim was located in front of the High Gate Apartment complex. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the chest.
