The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, a service offered through Cape May County Division of Aging and Disability Services in partnership with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), is actively seeking volunteers for the upcoming tax season. No prior tax experience is required. Free training and certification are provided by the IRS and the New Jersey State Tax Office. Volunteers can also choose roles that do not require tax law certification.
